Single Session Counselling

STRIP BACKGROUND

Are you feeling down or depressed about something that’s happening in your life right now? Maybe you’re anxious or worrying about a problem that just won’t go away? If this sounds familiar then you might be interested in my single session counselling service.

Talking things over in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential setting can help you to work through your problems with the aim of reaching a solution.

I offer single therapeutic sessions for one hour booked on a session by session basis. Using the person-centred approach as its foundation; your needs will be at the centre of our counselling relationship. My skills in listening and empathy mean that I will always be fully accepting of whatever issues you want to bring to the counselling session. To help you quickly and effectively I may also integrate additional skills and tools from other theoretical counselling approaches such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to enable you to achieve the best therapeutic outcome in the shortest time.

Here are some of the key benefits of single session counselling:

  • Book and attend on the day – (depending on session availability).

  • Provides help when you most need it – here and now.

  • Flexibility – single session counselling fits in with your needs.

  • No commitment to a block of sessions.

  • Ideal if you're new to counselling and want to know more.

  • Further single session can be booked easily.

  • Allows space to decide if a block of sessions might be beneficial.

  • Can provide useful guidance and signposting to other services.
